The room and bathroom space was decent, but the shower water didn’t drain and stayed dirty on the floor, the handle gave a shock, there was very little water for a shower, the shower sprayed everywhere including the toilet, and the mattress was hard.
“No breakfast, bathroom a mess and no room furniture”
The listing said breakfast was included, but there was none, and the virtual assistant confirmed that. In the bathroom there was no curtain or shower enclosure, so water spilled all over the floor and there was no squeegee to push it toward the drain. The room also lacked any furniture to put my suitcase on, which made it hard to keep things organized.

The front desk staff were friendly, but the location felt unsafe and the overall stay was disappointing. Trash bins stayed full, the linens looked stained and cheap, and the blanket smelled off. The shower only gave lukewarm water and the drain was clogged, so water pooled in the bathroom. Breakfast was very basic, no fruit, and the juice tasted like powder. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I was disappointed because I couldn’t get into the apartment; the address given was wrong (it was the old building), it was already late, I had three kids and my elderly parents in the car after a long trip through natural disasters, I tried calling the listed number with no luck, I requested an immediate cancellation to find another place and only got an automatic denial, I tried emailing and Instagram with no reply, I eventually found the address but still couldn’t get the entry info, and I lost my money. At least they should have answered the contacts and replied to the client.
“Scam alert – the hotel doesn’t exist”
Turns out the place isn’t even a real hotel – it keeps changing its name from San Marco to Lanusse and back, and the manager actually stopped me from filming the premises when I realized it was a scam. I’m out about 330 reais and the booking site still hasn’t helped me sort it out. Stay away; it’s a clear fraud.
