“海”
The hot spring with a view of the sea was nice, and I was happy to eat a seafood bowl at the beach, but the vending machine wasn’t restocked in time so I couldn’t buy tea, and the night menu was limited.
The room faced the mountain but still offered views of the sea and the city; construction was going on so it was noisy, the souvenir shop had a small selection and no dried fish, the food charges were confusing and unclear, and the hot spring was good.

The location is good. The facilities feel old and lack a sense of luxury.

The breakfast and dinner were buffet style with a wide variety of dishes that satisfied me, but Wi‑Fi was not available in the guest rooms and the sauna in the bath was broken.

The Dōjō-Ōedo Onsen Monogatari Toyohashi Marine Hotel is fairly close, and the nearby Jinnaka Pass is also near, so I’ve come for photography often; most shoots were day‑only, but maybe I should consider staying overnight for shoots. When my wife entered the large bath, it turned out to be a cold water bath, which she was furious about; she said she would complain if she caught a cold. I wonder if that incident has been reported to her supervisor.
