The setting was nice with a view of a tree‑lined park and the staff were friendly. The room had been refurbished and was comfortable, and the bathroom was separate from the toilet. The breakfast disappointed me: the setting felt impersonal and the food was basic, except for the fig jam.

The staff were genuinely friendly and kind, engaging in many pleasant conversations in both French and English; they were all very nice. The room lacked sufficient tea, coffee, and sweetener.
