We arrived late at night, but the room was ready without needing to contact the owner. It was large, clean, and very comfortable, with a spacious ensuite and a great shower. The owner greeted us at breakfast the next morning, where we enjoyed a fantastic, plentiful spread. He was friendly and offered helpful travel advice. Nothing negative.

The location is stunning and offers easy access to nearby villages, towns, and Edinburgh—using the park & ride for Edinburgh was simple. The family‑run farm/B&B went above and beyond for us, making the stay comfortable, relaxing, and effortless. Views from the room and breakfast area are amazing. The rooms are huge, with lovely bathrooms and hot showers. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. The family is very relaxed, accommodating, and always ready to help guests feel at home. We’re already planning to return next year. If you’re looking for a place for you, your dog, and kids, I’d definitely recommend it. Many thanks for taking care of us.

We found it great. They put a lot of effort into the breakfast. A wonderful atmosphere behind the Pentlands. Small cleanliness issues that I didn’t like.
