ArJe's Boys Hostel and Dormitory

I found the place pretty good; the neighborhood is quiet and the market is right nearby, plus there are plenty of pure veg spots and a KFC. Getting a taxi is a breeze and the owner is cheerful and relaxed. The room was tidy, but the blanket had a terrible smell, the bathroom was filthy, and there was no shower jack for washing; the washbasin pipe was loose, making drainage awful.

The property’s exterior was fine, but the washroom was filthy and in terrible condition. The mattresses felt like wooden blocks—stiff enough that jumping could crack your bones. There was no shower; the owner insisted we use the same bucket for the toilet and bathing, which was absurd. He blamed a little dirt, yet cigarette butts were in the bathroom and he never cleaned it afterward. There were no lockers or other conveniences, so I’d advise people not to waste money here.

For a low budget, I got a decent room for one night, but the meal wasn’t included.

The owner was friendly and the rooms and washrooms were fairly clean, though the location is a bit far from the market.
