The surroundings were peaceful and the setup was simple yet functional. Nothing else to add.

I could reach the staff quickly by phone, but the bathroom, room and kitchen were all dirty, and I wasn’t sure if the beds had fresh linens. Nobody was on site to tidy up, and a very strange man in the hostel made us feel uncomfortable.

The city was lovely and interesting, a real highlight of the trip.

The price was good, and the city centre and station were within walking distance. However, our room had no Wi‑Fi, there were mosquitoes, no window screens, morning noise from a neighbouring room, staff shouting at the pool in the morning, and a bad smell coming from the toilet and the pool area.
