Even though my reservation was confirmed, the inn was clearly closed when we arrived. My husband was told the rooms were fully booked, yet there was a car parked outside and no staff present except one person who couldn't speak German.

The price was absolutely fine, the room was very spacious, and breakfast was delicious, but the building is old and dated, yet everything still works properly.

Privelistea si baiatul politicos care vorbea engleza. Din pacate, nu ne am simtit deloc bineveniti la aceasta cazare. Am ajuns in jurul orei 15:15 si cand am intrebat o politicos pe doamna care ne a intampinat daca putem face check-in-uk aceasta ne a raspuns intr un mod foarte neplacut batand cu degetele pe usa unde era afisata ora de check-in 16:00. Intelegeam ca am ajuns mai devreme si nu era nici o problema ca trebuue sa mai asteptam. Doamna nu vorbea engleza. Calatoream cu fetita noastra mjca iar situatia a devenit si mai neplacuta atunci cand doamna a observat ca nu o trecuseram pe copil in rezervarra de pe Booking. S a enervat foarte tare. Din fericire un domn care vorbea engleza a intervenit si ne a ajutat, lucru pentru care ii suntem foarte recunoscatori. Ne-am simtit ca niste intrusi acolo. Intelegem ca sunt anumite reguli care trebuie respectate, insa atitudinea acelei doamne lasa de dorit

The old building unfortunately has a very bad vibe; at night you feel more like in “The Shining” than cozy and comfortable. The note on the door forbidding moving furniture doesn’t help—why would anyone want to move it? Maybe the door should be fixed, as the room key doesn’t lock properly. The dirty floor in the bathroom, spider webs on the ceiling over the bed, and the worn, dirty furnishings all contribute to an uneasy feeling. I left in the middle of the night.

It’s a secluded spot for a night or several day trips in the area if you just need a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fine, though not five‑star level. Coming from mountain huts, this was absolutely sufficient for me, and the value for money was top. I liked everything, except I personally preferred whole‑grain bread over the reheated rolls, but there was fruit, raw veggies, everything fresh, muesli, yogurt, and good coffee—what more could you want?
