This little tavern is a gem. I've been here five times and the scenery never gets old. It's super quiet and you can start great hikes straight from the inn without needing a car. The drive along the forest road is easy, so no heavy luggage on a lift. Rooms are simple but clean and big enough. The food is decent and plentiful. Just remember, it's an alpine farm, not a hotel, so expect a different vibe if you're after the usual hotel experience.

Nestled in the valley center, the food is great and the value is solid. The only annoyance was a few flies buzzing while we ate, but hey, we're in the mountains – that's life.

The location is fantastic, right in nature, and the staff were super friendly. Exploring the surrounding mountains was a blast, especially the mountain cart trail that ends at the Schlickeralm – a real highlight for us. Getting there was a bit tricky; the forest road was hard to find and GPS didn't help, but a quick call to the inn sorted it out.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, creating a peaceful, idyllic atmosphere in the most beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was nice, and dinner offered at least four courses. The area is popular with hikers who stop for lunch, and there are good trails and farm animals – cows, pigs, and sheep. In winter, the place turns into a ski resort.
