The staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The rooftop breakfast spot was nice, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. However, getting to the hotel requires walking through a very dirty little alley that is quite off-putting.

We’ve stayed in the garden room twice and can’t wait to come back. The Sheel Mahal is a spotless, comfortable, well‑run hotel that we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The approach to the property isn’t great, but that can’t be helped and doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of the stay.

The room was lovely, in a great spot, and the staff were very helpful. Khan and everyone else were excellent and friendly, always ready to assist. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but Khan immediately came out to locate us.

What we liked most about this place was the staff. They’re very helpful and attentive at all times, especially Khan, an exceptional employee. In general, the location is good and the price is low. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The location is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. For where it is, the hotel is okay. We arrived late at night and it was really hard to find, with angry dogs blocking the way and making us worry about our safety. The room needs better cleaning, the location to find the hotel is sketchy, and the bed and sheets were dirty.
