The lake views are stunning and it’s super quiet—a spectacular spot. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The downside: to reach the accommodation you have to walk about 15 minutes up a steep, stony path. At night the lights don’t turn on, so you’re up in the dark.

The house is large with a fantastic view. The supervisors are friendly and helpful. Getting to the house was painful—you have to climb over 10 minutes up the mountain, and unfortunately the elevator or cable car was out of order, so we couldn’t use it. The place is beautiful but not for those with heart or joint issues.

The view is gorgeous and the hosts are very welcoming and kind. The area is very quiet and perfect for downtime. I’d recommend it if you don’t mind being physically active: you’ll need to walk up a steep hill to get there, and walk toward Nesso for town time if you’re not driving. All in all, good value for money. The heat wave made sleeping hard without AC or fans, and the bed could use an upgrade. :)
