Yubarta Lodge

The staff greeted us warmly and were always ready to help, even arranging a whale‑watching tour when we asked. The lodge is spotless and sits right on the edge of Marino Ballena National Park, so we could walk straight to the trails and keep the car parked on‑site. The only drawback was that our room didn’t have any air‑conditioning, which made the evenings a bit uncomfortable.

From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with big smiles and kept everything tidy and secure. Our family room for two adults and two kids was nicely air‑conditioned, and we spent plenty of time by the pool and in the well‑stocked kitchen and dining areas. The whole place feels calm and harmonious—definitely a spot I’d recommend for a family getaway.

“Decepcionante”

The owner was really kind and the beach is just a short walk away, plus the pool and garden are decent for a quick dip. Unfortunately, the room itself was a disappointment: it was quite dirty, the sheets were torn, towels had stains, and the bathroom was crawling with ants.

The facilities are kept in great shape, and Cecilia was a lifesaver at check‑in, giving us lots of tips on what to see around town. Wendy Fabiola also made checkout memorable by sharing fresh local fruit and a friendly goodbye. The only issue was the bedroom door, which showed signs of humidity—mold spots and a warped lower edge—that could use some repair.

The pool was a nice perk for a quick swim, but the room itself lacked a TV screen, which was a bit disappointing for evening downtime.
