The room was filthy, the bathroom still had someone’s old shampoo bottle, the lights didn’t work, there was no bolt lock or hatch on the door, and shady people in hoodies were staring at us while we unloaded luggage at night; it wasn’t even worth $100 a night—$50 would be better—do not stay here.

I arrived early in the morning from Monterey to check in, and the lobby looked like a total dump with no freshening up—definitely not in a state that should be open. I was told I’d receive a full refund, yet I still got charged $87 for the cancellation. This place is a bad example of what shows up on the site versus reality, and the platform should screen these properties better.
