I was very disappointed by the lack of consideration for guests; on Saturday at 14h the parking service kept operating even after I complained about the noise and wanted to rest, and the only two parking spots were taken by the owners, leaving guests with no option; there was a lack of common sense and respect for those paying for accommodation.

Walking onto the sand was a treat; the beach itself is a delight. The breakfast area is amazing, and the coffee is also excellent. The housekeeping could have been a touch cleaner.

The hotel offers beach access and the Apaga Fogo beach is quite pleasant, though not the prettiest. Staff are attentive, especially waiter Luiz who served us at the beach and in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the ferry. We stayed in a room next to the pool. I found it unpleasant that the pool motor was installed right next to our window, and the noise was quite bothersome, especially at night when the place was quieter. The air conditioner was also noisy. The bathroom flush had an issue during the stay; it was partially fixed but we still had to watch it because it sometimes kept leaking.

The location was amazing and the highlight of the stay, and the accommodation surprised us with brand‑new, well‑kept rooms; we also loved the breakfast. However, directly in front of the hotel there were a lot of algae, making it impossible to enter the sea and forcing us to walk along the beach to get in.

The facilities were practical, clean, and the common areas were well maintained and pleasant. The first room I stayed in wasn’t great because it was close to the reception, but we swapped rooms and the new one was excellent.
