The location worked for me, but the hotel couldn't handle the heat; I couldn't get a fan, and even though there were few guests, my room was on the roof—really poorly organized.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, set in a nice area close to the thermal baths, and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is older but overall looks well‑maintained; our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was clear that some areas had been renovated. We especially liked the quiet location with a nice view of the Kurpark. After our stay, my husband had many bites, so we suspected bedbugs. The main entrance was unusable when we arrived; there was no clear directions to an alternative entrance, so another guest had to help us. The refrigerator in the room was broken even though the temperature was about 40 °C. Our message via Messenger went unanswered the whole time. The Wi‑Fi was sometimes down and the breakfast communication was unclear. The handling of our complaint was very disappointing: we received no direct response to our email from the hotel. A statement only came through the hotel’s legal representative under DEHOGA, and a settlement was never reached despite mediation.

On sunny days you can sit on the terrace with a view of the Kurpark. The hotel is in the middle of town yet remains very quiet. Walking you can reach a bakery, restaurants, and a pharmacy. The breakfast was buffet‑style and everything was wonderful. The hotel is an institution in Bad Überkingen, older but very well kept.
