The place was superb. It was beautiful, the rooms were large and clean, the buffet breakfast was very generous, and we ate at the self‑serve in the evening with many choices. Excellent—we liked everything.

We booked one night from 30.09 to 01/10. The spot is right in the center, within walking distance to many sites and entertainment, and parking is free. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The room had a double bed; although we’re not picky, all the amenities satisfied us. There was a kettle and tea available, a nice double bed, a comfortable mattress, warm yet light blankets, and we slept soundly. The hotel’s bistro offered simple but tasty food, a good variety for every taste, and excellent coffee. We dined there on both days. There’s also a pastry shop with delicious baked goods; in the evening we grabbed some treats for tea, and in the morning we took a meringue roll with us and asked the staff to keep it in the fridge until the evening, which they kindly agreed to. The price/value ratio is 10/10. We will definitely return.

Quiet, very comfortable place to stay, amazing breakfast and the lovely Latvian songs that played during the meal. Everything was great.
