This is a typical Soviet‑era hotel that feels frozen in time with lots of original touches, yet the mattress has been replaced and is a pleasant bed. Everything is well‑maintained, clean, and works properly, and there’s a nice view of a central boulevard. It’s a bit far from districts with more restaurants and museums, so if you want to hop in and out of your room during the day choose a more central hotel. It’s a classic hotel, not the right choice for those looking for modern conveniences.

There was nothing good to mention; the hotel was filthy and clearly in need of a full renovation. The room itself was very dirty, everything was falling apart, there was no hot water, and it was hard to get into the bath. The door didn’t lock properly, no cleaning took place during my stay, breakfast consisted only of a hot drink and a few pastries, the staff weren’t very friendly, and the bedding was also very dirty.
