The hotel’s position and history are impressive, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Nothing else to note.

The location in Bern Altstadt is fantastic, and the décor, rooms, and common areas evoke a “belle époque” feel. The room was hot even with moderate outside temperatures, and I couldn’t sleep with the windows open because of street noise. Breakfast starts at 8 am, is nice, but lacks hot options like eggs. I expected more for the 4‑star price.
