The hotel sits right on the beach and offers a good selection of excursions. They work with a great guide for the trek that mixes beach and jungle and a whale‑watching tour. The rooms and common areas are pleasant and the vibe is calm. You need to carry a lot of cash for excursions, transport, restaurants and shopping because it’s hard to withdraw money there, even though you can pay by card with a 10 % surcharge at the hotel. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner and it can be tough to find places open after 19:00.
