The location was good and there was no parking issue. The downside is that there are no curtains in the bathroom, and the bedroom upstairs also lacks a curtain, making it hard to get inside because you need to call to get the code for the main door; you’ll need a roaming phone or internet.

The location is great, but the rooms are Spartan and tidy: one had a good bathroom but no seating, the other had seats and a subpar bathroom. When we arrived, the owner had apparently “lost sight” of our booking, but it got sorted out because one of our Bulgarian friends could communicate and get in touch. We ended up staying alone in the otherwise empty guesthouse at the end of the season, seeing no staff, and had to “borrow” bathroom glasses from other vacant rooms.

The host was super helpful and polite. The house was spotless and kept in great shape, with a well‑equipped tavern. A restaurant and the city centre with house‑museums are just a short walk away, but the street itself is quiet and calm.
