“Herzlicher Stopp im Namaqualand”

The room was nice with a great terrace, the owners were super friendly, they cooked delicious meals for us and offered a track tour to the Sundowner on the house mountain while telling us a lot about the lonely area; in the evening they even set up a campfire in front of our terrace so we could enjoy dessert there, which was very nice, and a special highlight was the Kotzesrus in full bloom; if you’re traveling in a 4x4, definitely go to the beach and enjoy the rugged, lonely Atlantic coast with its great sandy beaches all to yourself.

The food was delicious and generous, the breakfast gigantic and authentically Afrikaans. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The welcome was very warm and friendly.

Maritha and Kobus are amazing hosts, super welcoming, and the food is excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by incredible nature that you can explore. I’ll definitely return.
