The spa was great, but the restaurant staff need basic English training, otherwise communication remains difficult.

Staying right by the stream was a treat, especially soaking in the red‑leaf bath on the balcony with a view of the water; the outdoor pool and hot‑tub were fantastic and the onsen felt authentically Japanese, while the staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast could have offered more items, but the food was decent, and I kept coming back for the other meals because the kitchen was tasty and reasonably priced; just watch out for ants and mosquitoes in the room and keep the door closed.

The place was quiet and we were the only ones there; the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent, the bathroom was huge, the facilities were great, and there were bikes and a fitness room available.

A very pretty hotel set in amazing nature, faithful to the photos, with good service. The food was not good.
