The owners were very pleasant, and we also greet Mrs. Dvořák again; the pension was our second home for a week; Mrs. Dvořák is very kind, helpful and friendly, taking care of guests exceptionally and running the pension with love; she welcomed us warmly and gave us a free drink on arrival; she cares about guest satisfaction; we are people who do not crave luxury but value good interpersonal relations, and for a holiday refuge we prefer calm, peace and a friendly environment over luxury; regarding practical needs we do not need the latest gadgets, just functional, practical, clean and comfortable; the pension Jaija did not disappoint us in any way, it even exceeded our expectations; we thank you for a pleasant, comfortable weekly sanctuary from which we went on excursions to nearby beauties and returned pleasantly tired; as a woman I appreciate the well-thought-out shared kitchen where each room has its own fridge and kitchenware; the dining area is clean and cozy; there is a stove, an oven, a microwave, a kettle and coffee from a machine at a reasonable price, which you can drink under a pergola in fresh air, in a closed courtyard in privacy; next to the pergola there is also a grill; shop, post office and civilization are within reach, yet it remains a private place surrounded by greenery; the beds were comfortable, rooms clean, and we were continually cleaned and had towels, bath mats and a kitchen towel replaced; because of the cooler weather, Mrs. Dvořák added an electric heater to the room without us asking, during regular cleaning; we felt at home; Mr. Dvořák is also very pleasant; before our departure she kindly photographed us; thanks; (I attach the photo to this review) We look forward to returning.

It was clean and more or less as shown in the pictures; the location was okay for us because we had a scooter; without it or not wanting to drive daily, I would definitely choose a different location; you can check this beforehand; good to know: the way back is a constant uphill climb; the staff were very friendly upon arrival, but then… we paid the total amount in advance, including all taxes and fees; on site additional fees were demanded; we carefully checked whether we had indeed paid everything and communicated this to the host; she then sent us an absolutely unserious and annoying message saying we were the only ones refusing to pay, that everyone has a conscience and a character and she would not starve just because we didn’t pay; this left us with a constant annoying feeling when seeing the accommodation and ruined the stay; she confirmed we had paid all fees and no further charges were allowed (except for extra orders, of course); still she claimed fees were listed; I let several weeks pass before writing this review to remove emotions; however, the host’s manner still bothers me in hindsight; I also invested a lot of time reviewing all emails and the booking platform to ensure we did not miss a fee; the internet went out multiple times; after the incident our room was no longer cleaned; the day before departure the host asked if anything needed cleaning, which honestly wasn’t necessary since we were already packing; the location must be examined carefully beforehand; for us it was okay without a car or scooter, too far from the lake and activities and uphill; the doors: rooms have only balcony doors instead of entrance doors; since there is no safe, you must decide if a balcony door is sufficient for security.

The host, Mrs. Dvořáková, is very pleasant and takes great care of guests, which is the main plus of the guesthouse. Everything else is clean and the atmosphere is nice. The equipment is a bit old, but that didn't bother me at all; there's nothing to dislike.
