The food was good, the pool was beautiful, and the location is very nice. The room was poorly maintained, the window was broken, the bathroom door closed poorly, and there were only a few towels.

I saw this hotel has a lot of potential, but the staff management falls short. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are fine for people with no dietary restrictions, and the staff activities are great—the best part of the place. The beach shuttle runs every 20 minutes and always arrives on time. However, the reception staff show little interest in helping guests. When I asked for a room change, the room I was in had a noisy AC, flooded when it rained, an uncomfortable and old mattress, and none of these issues were fixed. I was surprised that the employees didn't even greet politely; nobody responded to greetings. I've been to the Dominican Republic for years, and this is the first time I've seen this. Usually, locals are kind to tourists, but that wasn't the case here. It's a shame. There was no gluten-free or sugar-free food variety—just a processed croissant. I had informed the hotel beforehand about my situation, and they said they had options. During dinner, the meat, chicken, or fish station is handled by two people who try hard but are overwhelmed by the demand.
