“大家族には、GOOD‼️”
Staying with a large family worked out well, and the proximity to Dogo Onsen was convenient, plus the free parking was a big plus. However, paying an extra cleaning fee in addition to the room rate felt a bit off.
“ふかふかの布団”
It’s a walk from Dogo Onsen, but the directions are confusing; a map for driving would help. They provide pots, pans, and knives, but no plates, which is odd.
The spot is great, and they offer parking for drivers, which is super handy! The road is a bit narrow, so driving a 7‑seat car is a bit of a challenge.
“さいこう”
It was great to stay with a big group, and there were no issues.
We had the entire house for just the two of us, so it was wonderful and spacious. All the instructions were easy to follow in many languages. The air conditioning was great. They had a Japanese room with bedding and a western room with raised beds in the other. The pillows were so small and there weren’t any extras available, which was a shame. There were plenty of small towels. We didn’t use the kitchen, which looked like it had everything you needed. Communication was thorough. The location was an easy walk to Dogo Onsen and the shopping street. The only downside was an exit light on the hall ceiling that shines through the glass door into the western room, making it hard to darken.
