I was pleased with the reception; the lady who helped me was very polite and welcoming. She couldn't find me a cheaper transport option for check‑out, but I appreciated her effort. The hotel sits outside the city, which is a plus because of the natural surroundings—there’s a beautiful lake nearby. I was surprised to have a room all to myself; I thought I’d share it. The Wi‑Fi in my room was a bit weak, but I managed without much trouble. The biggest hassle was getting to Tampere: I had to take two buses, one with limited hours, which caused me to be late for appointments most days and forced me to spend a lot on Uber when public transport was unavailable. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it can affect guests without cars. Despite that, everything worked out for me and I really enjoyed my first visit to Finland.
