“Overall, we had an okay stay but we were disturbed by other guests.”
The host gave a warm welcome and was very friendly; the bathroom was spacious and the bed comfortable, plus the room had tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. We had free, secure parking for our car. However, late‑night guests were very noisy, talking outside our door and slamming doors woke us up and made it hard to sleep again. There was no option for an evening meal or a nearby vending machine, and we had to share the single breakfast table with other guests because the eating area outside the bedroom is communal. This meant we depended on other guests being considerate of shared space in order for everyone to coexist in a small area.

The breakfast was a definite plus - it was good and really hit the spot. On the downside, I didn't notice much going on in terms of activities or entertainment, which was a bit of a letdown.

However, our accommodation was a bit of a letdown, with an old and torn tent, a kitchen that desperately needed some attention, and a sunken couch that was pretty uncomfortable.
