The surroundings and hospitality were good, and the food was tasty, but the bathroom was a bit odd—shower and toilet in a tiny cabin, and the toilet was loose. Aside from that, everything was tidy and the shower was great.

A unique sleeping spot in the heart of Vlissingen, with a spacious, detail‑oriented room. No complaints, though in the summer it’s probably noisy from outside.

The hotel sits right in the centre of Vlissingen, near the sea, the port and the historic centre. It’s in a lively area, so there can be noise at night, but that didn’t bother me. I love the hotel’s unique atmosphere, and my room was very spacious. The staff were friendly, and the bathroom was clean. I hope I can come back! As the hotel is also a pub, it doesn’t serve breakfast, but you can get breakfast just around the corner. The building has a slightly spooky feel. The stormy nights during my stay may have added to it: I was there alone, the old wooden staircase was creaking, and the wind was howling. Together with the vintage interior, it made for the perfect setting. Loved it!
