The only issue from my side was the pillow size. The small pillow was too small, the large one was too big, but that didn’t diminish the overall experience. Next time I’ll bring my own pillow, or maybe ask for another one. 😊

The room was very nice and the parking lot huge. Everything else – reception, breakfast, restaurant – was in the castle above, about 400 m uphill. That would not have been a problem if it had been communicated. We were there in motorcycle gear at 32 °C, trying to get information. A small note on the door or an email would have helped.

The renovated accommodation, corridors and surroundings were like a castle. Dog friendly! And a large parking lot. At reception you have to go up to the gallery to check in, which isn’t a problem, but someone took the information card from reception and for a while we didn’t know what to do. The staff kindly guided us via phone.

Nice, renovated and modern. Perfect breakfast and beautiful surroundings. The check‑in was confusing because reception wasn’t in the castle but outside the accommodation. The man at reception was very friendly and helpful, but apparently a rookie. It took us about 2 hours to settle in, but the problem wasn’t so much with the reception as with other staff who left us “to deal with it”, didn’t help or advise, and we paid for that. On the top floor, on the roof at night and in the evening, “larger animals” ran – maybe a badger. The main entrance to the castle was unused, there was a bell and a dead mouse. In the renovated room, dust remained on the wooden beams.
