Not a hostel. It's an old rundown hotel that crammed many single beds into one bedroom. Only one electric point. Filthy. Everything was covered with years of dirt and grime. The toilet didn't flush. Only one key, so we couldn't lock. I cut my losses and checked out early. I just couldn't bear to stay there.

Walking into a place that's been around for years, you might expect cost savings to affect it, but the hosts are the nicest, kindest people who do everything they can to help. Even though I arrived super early, Malak the receptionist was kind enough to get me into my clean room ASAP without hesitation. Their food, breakfast used to be better. The room was missing items like a bed cover, towels, toiletries. The place is short on staff, so be considerate and ask nicely, and Malak is always there to help.
