The beach location was the only thing that impressed me, and the rooms were decent. I was shocked to discover that the resort, which had been advertised as highly rated with all facilities, was far from it. The claim that there was a swimming pool was a lie—no pool at all, which was the biggest let‑down, especially after spending over 10k per night in Goa. The property was under renovation, with workers everywhere, and even the deck overlooking the beach was being worked on. On the third day the breakfast area was closed, forcing us to sit outside in the hot, humid weather, which was unacceptable. The breakfast spread was very basic compared to other resorts that offer exotic options at similar prices. Overall, it was a highly disappointing and sad experience at Thallasa; we could have been told in advance about all this. Why did the website mention a pool when there was none? I felt cheated after paying the money—anywhere else I could have stayed had I known the place was being renovated.
