“An exceptional house and a friendly welcome”
This extraordinary house, dating from the 15th Century, is worth visiting just for the experience. It keeps many original features, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. Access is via a spiral stone staircase, clearly original. There appear to be only two letting bedrooms, a double and a triple, each with an external bathroom and toilet plus a small seating area. They seem to let out one or the other, so you always have total privacy. The location is a bit far from the motorway, which isn’t ideal if you want a quick in‑and‑out. Although there are local restaurants, we were there on a Monday and had to travel to Bourges for dinner, which is about 25 minutes away.
