The service was warm and enthusiastic.

The room was surprisingly comfortable and the hotel feels modern, right next to the train station which made getting to Huangshan a breeze. Front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The only thing that kept me from giving a perfect score was the smell of tobacco drifting in from someone smoking in the lobby and a faint tobacco odor in the room.

This place nails the basics: spot‑on location, spotless rooms, a helpful receptionist, and a nice balcony to enjoy the view. The downside is the breakfast menu – it’s all Chinese dishes, no Western options at all.

Being right by the railway station was a huge plus, and the room was both spacious and cozy. Chen at the front desk was especially helpful, speaking English fluently and pointing us toward some great local sights. Unfortunately, I kept seeing guests light up in the hallway despite the clear no‑smoking signs.
