It works for a night; the rooms are comfy, especially considering the very good price.

Good for a single night, but there was no toilet paper.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was plentiful and hot! The manager was super friendly, and I got a key to the door so I could come back late without ringing the bell. My room also had a small desk, a chair, and a wardrobe. The internet connection was excellent—I did work video calls smoothly. The neighborhood and the hotel were much quieter than what I found in the center (no horns…) yet it’s only a 10‑minute walk to Place d’Armes. Some rooms aren’t very large and don’t have windows that look outside (they face the corridor or have high windows); mine was one of those, but it didn’t bother me.

The spot was okay and the bed was comfy—there were plenty of blankets to keep warm. I messaged two days before asking about early check‑in and got no reply; we only managed to leave our bags when another guest let us in. We never got a key for our room or the building, so later that evening we had to ask yet another guest to open the door after we’d already checked in. Texts and messages went unanswered even during sensible hours. We had to nag the staff to change our payment; otherwise they wouldn’t have charged us. The response was slow and clueless, and when we arrived the front desk thought we were just dropping off bags or staying an extra night. It feels like the place is understaffed or poorly trained. The facilities were fine but the staff needed to be more attentive—there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, for example. The price was fair, but the lack of communication made the stay more stressful than it should have been.

The staff came out behind me in the morning, charging me even though I had already paid, and they handed me a dirty, old, wet towel.
