The staff were very welcoming and courteous, and the location was great.

The room looked nice in a run‑down building, but no one came to check us in or help us with our bags. We had to follow confusing phone instructions, and the other couple checking in at the same time faced the same issue. I left my diabetic monitor on the premises and asked for it to be sent to me at my expense, but 17 days later nothing had been done. Apparently none of the staff can help or consider it their job, which shows how little they care about guests.

It was close to the Vatican, and the neighbors around the apartment were friendly and made me feel at home; the drainage and late check‑in were a bit cumbersome, but the staff were quick and kind. The walls were thin, so a lot of conversation could be heard.

The spot is only a 10‑minute walk from the metro and the Vatican, and the neighborhood is full of shops, cafés and restaurants. The room was spotless, and the self‑check‑in process was quick and easy. I would have liked to see glasses and mugs instead of disposable tea cups.
