It's a 20-minute public transport ride to Taipei Main Station and a 40-minute drive to Taoyuan International Airport. Rooms feature flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and minibars, with private bathrooms including showers and hairdryers.

The spot is great—close to the metro exit, near 101, and the city’s indoor and outdoor bars give a nice vibe. The exit layout is a bit confusing for first‑time visitors and requires a little searching.

The location is good, but the internet worked only 90% of the time, just a couple of hours in the middle of the night. The noise between rooms was awful; I couldn’t sleep for two nights because of loud laughter and shouting in the last room all night.

The spot was convenient and the soundproofing was decent, but the basement room had a strong mildew smell, cleanliness was lacking, dust hung on the walls, fake eyelashes stuck to the carpet, the bathroom drain still held debris left by previous guests, and a dead cockroach was trapped in the hotel board box.

The nearby restaurants were a bit noisy, and the soundproofing didn't do much.

The place was in a great spot, right in the middle of everything, and stepping out the door you could snap a perfect photo of Taipei 101; the rooms were cozy and surprisingly quiet, and when we got soaked on our last day, the on‑site washer and dryer were a lifesaver so we didn’t have to haul wet gear back to Australia. The only downside was a leaking air‑conditioner in our room that left a puddle on the floor, and it would have helped to have a common area to hang out since the rooms are small.
