I didn't find anything good, but the toilet was a problem.

The staff were good.

I flew to Pune to drop my son off at Symbiosis Institute of Technology’s Lavale campus and, lacking nearby lodging, chose Hinjawadi as my base even though it meant a daily commute. I wanted a hotel that was easy to reach despite Pune’s traffic, spotless, offered excellent buffets, treated guests well, and responded quickly to requests. Vivanta Hinjawadi checked every box, so I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

The all‑inclusive buffet breakfast featured a lavish spread, and every dish we sampled was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and we appreciated the overall service. We had requested rooms close together in advance and were pleased to receive interconnected rooms. When I asked about occupancy, the staff said the hotel was heavily booked because Independence Day fell over the weekend, yet we didn’t feel the impact at all – privacy and comfort remained intact. The location is a big plus, with many food joints and shopping options nearby, including the area next to D‑Mart. We even ordered through Swiggy once, and it was completely hassle‑free. We received a lovely surprise of sweets and a cake for Independence Day, a thoughtful gesture that made our stay special. The cold water in the pool was a bit disappointing; a hotel of this reputation could afford a heated pool. The pool was also quite small, but that didn’t bother us much because of the times we chose. In the morning there were hardly anyone around, and in the evening only one other family. The breakfast buffet was crowded, with only one coffee machine available. Instead of waiting for a waiter, we helped ourselves to get coffee quickly, but there was a queue for the machine while the waiter also used it for table orders. At one point the water ran out, which took a few minutes to refill, and then the milk ran out as well, again taking time to replenish. Given it was a weekend, Independence Day holiday, and a peak period with more guests, this could have been anticipated. For a hotel of this repute, I would definitely suggest having at least one additional coffee machine during peak breakfast hours.

The room was comfortable. The restaurant staff were not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel
