The hotel was not available, and the room’s cleanliness and availability were lacking.

The staff seemed friendly, but they told me my room wasn’t available and then forced me to pay more than double for another room. I paid, yet later they informed me the room was still unavailable after contacting the manager. I suspect bias because I’m a foreigner; I’ve seen a similar sign about foreigners elsewhere, but this is the only place in Lucknow, India where I’ve experienced this. Namaste.
