The location was good, but it was very loud with street noise, and a renovation is urgently needed.

The room was massive and the bed was very comfortable with good bedding, and the shower had good pressure, though there was nowhere to stash washbags or toiletries; the provided shower gel and shampoo were fine. The location was great, walking to everything we wanted or taking an Uber back, and there were lots of good bars and restaurants within a 15‑minute walk. Staff were great, giving us a map and general directions (thanks Staz), and breakfast at the attached cafe/bar was excellent (thanks Olivia). The only downside was that Canadian hotels are expensive compared to Europe.

The place sits in a great spot, just a quick walk to the metro, bus stops, and restaurants, and there's a decent market nearby.

The location is great, right in the middle of town, two blocks from the Hop On Off bus, close to Robson St for shopping, and a very quick taxi ride to Canada Place for train and ferry. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the Wine Bar for breakfast, with a discount voucher, was very good too. For a chic hotel, the rooms look a little dated, with exposed fire sprinkler plumbing, a loose towel rack, and only bedside lights for room lighting.

It’s downtown, close to everything, making it ideal for a quick stay and exploring the area. The place is clean and the staff are friendly, though it’s old.
