The beautiful garden full of olive trees, citrus trees and hibiscus flowers hosts original half‑balloon bungalows. Inside the rooms are clean and lovely, with a small fridge, hair dryer, kettle, cups and tea. Breakfast is served buffet‑style in the garden, and the host offers sweet and savory dishes. Jams, bread and biscuits come from the owners’ kitchen, and they also serve fresh fruit from the garden—figs, bananas, pomegranates. The hosts are very friendly and communicative.

The Domicil Giardino di Sicilia is run by Margherita and Reginaldo on the hills above Saint Agata, surrounded by olive groves and offering a unique distant view of the town and sea. Following the model of traditional Sicilian shepherd huts, they built six igloo‑shaped houses that blend into the landscape. On the 3‑hectare estate there are various seating and lying areas, including a section separated only by white cloth where we enjoyed an Ayurvedic massage. Breakfast is lovingly prepared with fresh Sicilian products from their own kitchen and garden fruit. On a terrace overlooking the sunset over the sea, they serve dinner with produce from their own cultivation. Margarita and Reginaldo are the hosts you wish for in an agriturismo—warm, attentive, and very helpful in every matter.

The owners are very friendly and always ready to help. Beautiful view from a lovely garden. The lady cooked a wonderful dinner for us in the evening and prepared breakfast with plenty of fresh ingredients. The shower is very cramped.

“Una bella vista dalla collina del mare.”

The breakfast came with product explanations, and the hilltop location offers a sea view. The path to the hotel is a rough, unpaved, uneven stone road about 200 metres long, surrounded by olive trees, making it difficult for anyone with mobility issues to walk from the car. The room felt like an igloo, with only one electrical outlet and a tiny bathroom.
