The lady who served breakfast was very odd, and that was the only thing that bothered me.

I loved this hotel and its proximity to the seafront; the staff were extremely friendly and the check‑in was very easy. It’s an old hotel with a lot of character. My room, ‘Greville’, was spotless and well equipped, the shower was great and the bed super comfy. People with mobility restrictions should know there’s a big step to enter the shower in this room, so it’s best to inform the hotel when booking so they can arrange something suitable. I didn’t eat there, but I had a drink at the downstairs bar and felt warmly welcomed; the staff were very friendly and polite. The stay was very comfortable. Being on the seafront, there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and there’s also an onsite restaurant—great if you don’t want to go far. If you’re visiting Deal, I highly recommend staying here!
