“A good place to stay if you want to be removed from the "crowds" of tourists”

The location was fantastic; every room is a shipping container with a private bathroom. I loved the remote setting, and the road leading there was quite steep. I recommend renting a bike—or an electric bike—to get around, because walking far is tough. You could also take a taxi, but after 9 PM they’re hard to find. Luckily, one taxi saved us a 2.5‑hour walk home at 10 PM. The atmosphere was phenomenal, with wonderful natural sounds in the evening. We had some local staycations as neighbors who were out drinking well past midnight, which was pretty cool. The host’s adorable kids served a delicious breakfast. You can grill outside, sing karaoke, or play games (there’s a projector), and the fridge is behind the containers. The only negative was being told I had cancelled my reservation right before check‑in (when I hadn’t), which was a bad feeling, but the host resolved it immediately without any problems.

“Lovely stay in nature”

I stayed in a lovely spot surrounded by nature near Sun Moon Lake; the hosts were super friendly, let us borrow their bike, and even gave us a lift to the bike rental shop. The breakfast was nice and the room felt cozy—highly recommended!

“Cozy stay”

This place is very cozy and tucked away in a secluded area, perfect for relaxing and feeling at peace. The room is spacious, even has a sofa, and the bathroom is spotless; breakfast was nice. The only downside is that the location, while secluded, means you have to walk about 30 minutes to the town for food, laundry, and other errands.
