Wonderful stay. The staff was very attentive and the included breakfast was the best experience and meals! I would definitely recommend this place if you want a more traditional stay. Plus, it’s in the Gion district and it was very easy to walk to the sights we wanted to see.

Beautiful property with an authentic feel. The staff were nice and the dinner was enjoyable. The lodging and room were a bit too authentic, offering little comfort or amenities.

Great location! Very traditional and homely with fine food and friendly staff. A more comfortable seat in the room and an easier transition to a shoes‑off policy would be appreciated.

The staff were amazingly kind, considerate, and helpful, going above and beyond from the moment we arrived until we left. Absolutely incredible hospitality!
