The hosts welcomed us with a warm and friendly greeting, and the room and bathroom were spacious; the dog was also very welcome. I understood that they had only recently taken over this hotel, so it’s clear they might not have the resources to modernise everything, but the peeling paint and wallpaper that comes off here and there can definitely be fixed.
