“Correcto”

I stayed close to the airport, right in front of a supermarket and the few hair salons that were there. The bathroom, however, had a strong drainage smell that lingered.

I chose this place because of its proximity to the airport and the Negombo fish market, especially after a late flight. Contrary to some comments, the noise and odors I noticed came from the bathroom drainage, not the market. The water didn’t drain quickly after my husband showered. We checked in just after 12am. They gave us gate passwords, but the ground floor had no lighting, which felt a bit scary for a solo woman. Thankfully, our pick‑me driver was very helpful and waited for us to open the gate before leaving. The Roman blinds on the side windows weren’t fully closed, so during daylight someone passing by could see through the curtain gap.

I liked the place, but it annoyed me that there was no sachet of coffee or milk powder available at night.

“Excellent”

We returned for a second stay before flying out of the country. The room and bathroom were lovely, with toiletries and some drinking water included. Our flight was very late, and the host let us stay past check‑out for a small fee, which was extremely generous and convenient. I highly recommend this spot for anyone staying near the airport.
