“Für eine Nacht ohne besondere Ansprüche ist es okay.”

I liked that late check‑in was possible and payment was simple. The in‑house Greek restaurant tasted great. The sink was a miniature basin – just enough for two hands – and there was still dirt in the corners of the floor that wiping missed. Hot water was missing, the faucet had no space to switch to hot, the toilet seat was loose, the beds were too soft for my taste, and a person over 1.85 m would definitely have space issues. The only breakfast option was a hardware store nearby. If you have low expectations, one night might be fine, but every guest should judge for themselves – this is my personal view.

The fair is walkable (1.5 km through the Park der Sinne) and the tram gets you there in under 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and a late check‑in was no problem. The room was very small, had a leaky window and hard‑to‑reach sockets, and was not clean – crumbs, hair, and undefined wall stains were present.

The rooms were infested with cockroaches, so we chose not to stay. It was also over‑priced – €140 for a basic standard room with only a bed. We were extremely disappointed.

“Kein Aufenthalt, eine reine Abzocke”

Nothing at all. The reservation was cancelled and the price was raised by €120 to re‑book. A gangster accommodation, definitely not worth booking.
