We stayed in a suite in this beautiful old palazzo, which was very clean and had a special flair. The owner offered helpful suggestions on things to do in Altamura. Breakfast was great in a cosy setting. Parking at a nearby lot (with reasonable 24‑hour fees) was no issue. All Altamura attractions were close by. The suite was in the basement, so the separate bedroom at the back has no windows, which might not suit people with claustrophobia.

The host’s kindness and passion were evident. Our room was a bit difficult to reach, and the breakfast was somewhat limited.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and caring. Andrea’s mostly specialized information was enormously helpful. Communication with the lovely host is unfortunately only possible in Italian.

The location is perfect, close to everything. There’s a lot of breakfast food, mostly made by Mrs Giusepina.
