Getting there is a breeze and the parking spaces are plenty. The truck noise can be annoying.

A nice spot for a one‑night stopover in St Arnaud, a beautiful goldfields town. The beds are comfy and the room stays dark at night. It’s a bit out of town but a pleasant walk away. The price is reasonable for what you get. The hot water takes a long time to warm up. The rooms are really too small for our family of four, especially after the drive from Mildura back to Melbourne. There are enough beds, but there’s very little room to move inside! It would be fine for two people. There’s a lot of traffic noise because the main truck route through town runs right past the back window, so ask for a room on the other side if possible.
