The staff were nice and the breakfast was good. It felt like a backwards time‑travel – an old inn with a backlog of renovations. In the back building there was a corridor with 6 rooms, 2 shared showers and 1 shared toilet on the hallway, but at least there was a sink in the room. That setup is more like hostels or youth hostels than a hotel room for €100 a night on the village edge.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, the room was clean and simple, and the breakfast was superb and left nothing to be desired. The downside was the lack of a private bathroom or shower, limited comfort, and no view.

The beds were comfortable and the blanket was warm; the dinner (self‑served) was very tasty. However, the hotel clearly shows its age—there was no side curtain at the window, so blackout wasn’t possible—and the breakfast was basic, making the value for money questionable.
