We loved it; it’s very well located, super clean, and has a divine balcony for dining. It was a bit noisy.

The location was a beautiful surprise. A huge bedroom, a spacious bathroom with new fixtures, a nice terrace, and finally a rooftop from which you could see the whole city. The shower water pressure was a little low.

The place sits in a nice spot right in the heart of Olbia, but we tried to contact the owners through Booking over and over and never got a reply to any messages or calls. When we got there, a woman who said she wasn’t the owner met us, claimed she never got any messages or calls, and gave us her personal number. The building has very uncomfortable stairs to reach the apartment, but that wasn’t a problem for us because neither of us has mobility issues. She showed us the apartment and immediately the lock that should close the door was broken – it didn’t lock at all, even though she kept insisting it was just a flaw of that type of lock. I told her I wanted the apartment locked, she promised to get the husband to fix it, but the lock was broken and that’s it. We walked into a cold apartment, turned on the air‑conditioner, and she left saying, “for any problem you can call me.” The air‑conditioner probably isn’t broken because it turns on, but it probably lost its gas, so it didn’t cool the room. We tried closing all the doors but nothing worked. I mentioned it to her, she said it was weird because the week before the daughter stayed and everything was fine, and she even told me how to set the climate. In my home, I have air‑conditioners in every room and even without being a technician I can get them to work properly. In short, a one‑night stay for 230€ was definitely not worth it because there was zero contact with the owner who was very dismissive, we had to leave the apartment open the whole time because the lock never worked, and it was freezing cold because the air‑conditioner didn’t work. I would call it a terrible experience, quality‑price 0.
