To finish my island tour I decided to drop my bags at Kiwengwa, with no particular expectations or idea of what awaited… and what a surprise! I was simply given the best welcome of my life! From the moment I arrived, Denise, smiling, kind and caring, made me feel at home instantly. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciate human‑sized places that prioritize authenticity, personalized touches and genuine encounters. And I can assure you the whole team at White Dream Lodge can turn a simple stay into an experience that surpasses all expectations! After learning the place and all the useful info shared, it was time for culinary exploration! One word: incredible! I can even say it’s one of the best food experiences I’ve had on the island. True craftsmanship, fresh products and a wide variety of dishes… enough to enjoy every day without ever getting bored! Why choose this spot? For its intimate atmosphere, human scale, absolute tranquility and lack of noise. Here we take the time to breathe, disconnect and fully enjoy the present moment. And then there are the sunrises… 🌅 The rooms overlook the ocean, so imagine the view at wake‑up. The décor simply breathtaking, making every morning a bit magical. Huge thanks to the whole team for your welcome, gentleness and kindness! Special thanks to Imerda, Denise, Joan and Lilian for those beautiful moments. You’ve already convinced me to come back next year! Thanks also to Ana for the laughs, conversations, sharing and all those great stories. Nothing to report.

The location is great with beach rooms, a small unit of about a dozen rooms, a friendly and professional team, a present management (Anna, an Italian who coaches her teams), consistently good food (in many places it depends on the day)… This was our highlight of the trip where we booked 2 days and were forced to stay 6 days. It’s really for the record… the room fan isn’t quiet for sleeping, so we used the AC, but no hotel on the island had a silent one.

“Eine unvergessliche Zeit 🩷”

A little paradise in Zanzibar 🌞🌴💞 We spent 16 wonderful days at White Dream Lodge and felt completely comfortable from the very first moment. The relaxed, warm and family‑like atmosphere was exactly what one wants for a perfect holiday. The morning was an absolute highlight. From bed, view of the Indian Ocean 😍 barefoot to breakfast, again that breathtaking view 🌊🌴 Starting each day like that was simply a dream and will stay with us for a long time. The food at the restaurant was so good that we never ate anywhere else during the 16 days – and that says it all. Even our trips were organized. That allowed us to enjoy our holiday completely relaxed 🙃 and whatever wish we had – it was fulfilled ❤️ The lodge has a special charm and is a wonderful place to let your soul unwind. Plus the location, right on the ocean – pure vacation!!! Thank you 🫶 for the dreamy time, the warmth and the great memories. We felt completely at ease and can recommend White Dream Lodge to anyone who wants to experience Zanzibar authentically, relaxed and with a good feeling. Hakuna Matata – we’ll gladly come back 🫶💞
